"Eye of the Beholder" is the fourteenth episode of American Dragon: Jake Long.
Plot[]
Jake, Grandpa and Fu Dog go on a mission to go find Fu Dog's friend to enter her in the beauty contest, so the other contestants don't win and Pandaras doesn't complete his evil plan.
In the competition, when Fu Dog's friend is walking she accidentally gets hurt and can't compete, so Jake and Grandpa decide to put a dress and a wig on Fu Dog and enter him in the competition. He goes inside the dressing room, and he needs to act polite, instead of trying to hit on all the girls like he did when they arrived. Fu Dog gets ready to participate in the contest; they need to pass a lot of tests, such the bathing suit contest.
Meanwhile, Jake and Grandpa are snooping around to find out what Pandaras is up to. In the contest, Fu Dog doesn't get that many points. Towards the end as Fu Dog is giving his speech, he talks about himself and how he isn't pretty, but they shouldn't put all those beautiful girls in a contest.
Meanwhile, Jake and Grandpa fight the Goblins that Pandaras sent to attack them. Jake and Grandpa get trapped in a net and get locked up with chains. In the contest, Fu Dog says that they should pick the other girls who are more beautiful. The other contestants get touched by Fu Dog's speech and say that if they don't pick "her", then they won't have a winner because they quit. Pandaras gets mad, and one of the contestants tells Pandaras that they quit and he had better pick Fu Dog.
Fu Dog wins the contest, and Pandaras gives the crown to Fu Dog. When Pandaras reveals his plan, Fu Dog takes off the wig. The contestants are surprised, and they say that he is the dog that tried to hit on them. Fu Dog agrees, but Pandaras doesn't care - as long as he marries the winner, he will become the most powerful and evil wizard in the land. They take Fu Dog while the goblins protect them.
Later, Pandaras takes Fu Dog to a passageway to marry him. Jake tells Fu Dog to be careful because Pandaras is trying to marry the winner of the contest, but Fu Dog says, "You are looking at her." Jake and Grandpa are surprised that he won, and Fu Dog says, "What's so hard to believe?". But just in time, the girls come in and save Fu Dog from Pandaras.
Outside, the girls thank Fu Dog for treating them nicely as the episode ends.
