Villains which lack the qualities of a traditional villain due to despite being immoral, they have heroic, noble or at-least non-evil motives, goals or ideologies which oppose those of the central characters. Often in Disney media, these villains will reform or temporarily work with a hero for a shared purpose.
Not to be confused with the antithesis of this classification, the Category:Anti-heroes, which are supporting characters or protagonists who lack certain traditional hero qualities, despite being on the side of good.
They are also not to be confused with tragic-villains or reformed villains. Although they can overlap, reformed or tragic villains are not necessarily anti-villainous.
