"Bucky's Anchor Aweigh!" is the first segment of the twenty-seventh episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It premiered on February 24, 2012 alongside "The Never Rainbow", and is the first segment of the second episode in the second season.
Plot[]
At Mermaid Lagoon, Jake, his crew, Marina, and the Purple Octopus are all gathered around as Bucky sails up to the dock. Jake tells Bucky that he and the crew are giving him a present, then Izzy tells Bucky how much he is appreciated. Cubby tells him that he is cool and gives him two thumbs up. Then the Octopus lifts a sheet off of something and reveals a Golden Anchor. Bucky rings his bell in excitement, but Captain Hook sees this. Hook is stuck with a very old anchor for his ship. Mr. Smee tries to polish it, but it disintegrates. Hook then heads to Mermaid Lagoon.
Just as it is time to attach the new anchor to Bucky, Hook saws the area where the Golden Anchor is to steal it for his own ship. Jake and his crew decide to take it back. Bucky is so desperate to get it back that he leaves without them. Marina tells Jake and his crew to use a sailboat wreck to catch up to Bucky. Meanwhile, Sharky and Bones deploy a floating fence in an attempt to stall Bucky. Bucky still gets past the fence by jumping over it after seeing dolphins do the same. Jake and his crew put the shipwreck in the water, and the purple octopus gets it moving so Jake and his crew can catch up to Bucky.
Captain Hook sees Bucky, and Mr. Smee warns him of a fog bank. Although he says that no one can see anything there, Hook says that if they can't see anything, neither can Jake and his crew. Sharky and Bones then sing a song about which way to go. Bucky then heads in the fog just as the Jolly Roger heads out of it. Bucky then heads to the Swirling Whirling-Pool and tries to escape it.
Jake and his crew then head to the fog, and Marina tells them that the fog hides the Swirling Whirling-Pool. They then hear Bucky calling for help, and Marina follows them to where it is. Jake and his crew try to pull Bucky to safety, but more power is needed. Marina then calls the dolphins, and Jake tells them about Bucky stuck in the Swirling Whirling-Pool. The dolphins then help in pulling Bucky to safety and out of the fog. Jake and his crew then set course for the Jolly Roger.
There, Captain Hook likes his new anchor when the dolphins jump over the ship, taking Hook's hat in the process, although they later return it. Jake and his crew then arrive on the Jolly Roger to take back the Golden Anchor. Since it is too heavy, Izzy uses pixie dust so Jake and his crew can ride it. Bucky then jumps over the Jolly Roger to pick them up. Back on Pirate Island, Jake and his crew put their gold doubloons into their Team Treasure Chest.
The Jolly Roger then heads into the fog and heads into the Swirling Whirling-Pool. Captain Hook and his crew then abandon ship before it gets sucked in. Bones reveals that he brought an inflatable dinghy, which also deflates and heads in the Swirling Whirling-Pool.
