Secret Invasion[]

After arriving at the entrance to New Skrullos, Beto was greeted by G'iah, who confirmed he was a Skrull. After doing so, G'iah drove him to New Skrullos and gave him Skrull food. When the two arrived at the center of New Skrullos, G'iah gave Beto a tour and went into a guarded room.

After G'iah visited the room, she and Beto continued talking, though their conversation was interrupted when Pagon requested to speak to G'iah.

In the following days, the Skrull Resistance carried out a plan to bomb an event near their base. However, following the bombing, one of the members of the group, Brogan, had been captured. Gravik chose Beto, along with Pagon and G'iah to accompany him on the rescue mission. After arriving at their destination, Gravik told Beto and G'iah to wait in the car. After a few minutes, G'iah told Beto that she was going to check the back and told Beto to stay in the car.

After successfully rescuing Brogan, the four drove to a safe house, though it was revealed that the authorities had raided it. Thinking that Brogan had given away the location, Gravik ordered Pagon to kill him, which Beto witnessed.

Following Brogan's death, Beto, along with Pagon and a Skrull named Zirksu were tasked by Gravik to infiltrate the British Royal Navy in order to shoot down a plane belonging to the United Nations. Beto, Pagon, and Zirksu were able to successfully infiltrate the navy, though their plan was foiled when their attack was prevented by Nick Fury and Talos.

In the following days, Gravik planned an assassination attempt on Ritson, the President of the United States, which Beto assisted in, but was not present in the attack itself. When Gravik returned to New Skrullos after the unsuccessful attack, Pagon began to question Gravik's authority. Enraged, Gravik impaled Pagon with his powers, instantly killing him. After Pagon's death, Beto was visibly shaken.

Later in the day, Beto, along with other resistance members plotted to murder Gravik as a result of Pagon's death. Later in the day, Beto began to talk to Gravik about him. Gravik then got up, receiving a phone call from Raava. Suddenly, catching Gravik off guard, a Skrull slammed a hammer into Gravik's back. Beto then shoved a plastic bag over his head, and with the assistance of other Skrulls, Gravik was momentarily pinned down on a table and the Skrulls began repeatedly beating him. However, after his initial struggle, Gravik was able to overpower the Skrulls. Seeing this, Beto began to fight back, though he was thrown to the floor. Gravik then caught up to him and threw him out of a window. Outside, Beto tried to escape, though he was again caught by Gravik, who held a knife to his throat. Gravik then slew Beto in front of many spectators, making an example out of him.

Beto's corpse is later seen when G'iah (disguised as Nick Fury) re-enters the now deserted city.
