Scrapadactyls are airborne flying creatures possibly related to the Dinotrux. They made their debut as the main antagonists of the episode of the same name.
Biology[]
Physical Description[]
Scrapadactyls are rusty winged pterosaur-like creatures with a medium-sized crest on their heads and long curved and grooved beaks; the color scheme and physical features of just one Scrapadactyl makes an entire flock of them look mostly identical to one other. They also have small wheels on their feet for landing and mechanical electric-blue eyes similar to Scraptors, only the eyes of a Scrapadactyl have a slight purple hue.
Behavior[]
Scrapadactyls, much like the ground-dwelling Scraptors and Scraptools are bred for collecting any scrap metal they spot and occasionally fighting over it, though they will also eat ore and hunt Tools by mistaking the latter for stray metal and are heavily attracted to other shiny objects. Unlike Scraptors, who are said to be afraid of the dark and diurnal, Scrapadactyls are instead nocturnal and active at night. It was accidentally revealed by Waldo that Scrapadactyls are drawn to low levels of light like the ones projected by Lightning Bitbugs, but it was also shown that too much light can drive them away. According to Revvit, they especially dislike smaller areas and will fly away from them, making them claustrophobic. If Scrapadactyls spot injured or fully operational Tools or Trux, mostly during the night or evening, they often circle around them like vultures, constantly swooping down on and even openly attacking said creatures looking for opportunities to pick them apart; these behaviors, along with an infamously well-known natural persistence has given them a reputation for being a single group of feared and despised pests. Like Scraptors, they also live in nests made out of any scrap they have collected, but a Scrapadactyl nest is usually located at the most elevated point one notices in an area.
