Using the JW Platform, you can add content to your app to create engaging viewer experiences. With movies, series, live broadcasts, and more, you can tailor content to audience preferences, driving higher viewer satisfaction and retention.

Add app content

Follow these steps to add content to the JWP dashboard:

1. From the Media Library, add one or more movies or series.

   You can also add other content types.

2. Create one or more playlists to organize your content.
   The following examples are common playlist use cases.

   Playlist	Description
   Featured	Highlights a selection of standout videos or series that represent your app content For Featured content, create a manual playlist.
   Popular	Displays a dynamic row of videos that are popular among viewers For Popular content, create a dynamic playlist. NOTE: The dynamic playlist must be sorted by plays to reflect popularity.
   Genres and Categories	Organizes content into genres (such as Drama, Comedy, Action, etc.) This use case enables viewers to easily find content to match their preferences. For Genres and Categories, create a dynamic playlist.
   Recently Added	Highlights the latest additions to your library This section keeps regular viewers engaged by introducing new content since their last visit. For Recently Added content, create a dynamic playlist. NOTE: The dynamic playlist must be sorted by publish date to reflect recency.

   
   
3. (Optional) Upload alternate images.
4. (Optional) Add translations.

After adding app content, you can create an app config and associate your content with it.
