Le Meridien Arlington just unveiled a new Mexican-themed outdoor terrace, dubbed The Yard Arlington.
The scenic eating and drinking destination, located on the fourth floor of the hotel (1121 19th Street, Rosslyn, Va.), features a lineup of tacos, sliders, guacamole, and frosé.
ARLnow calls the menu a “food truck on steroids.” Expect weekly specials like $6 margaritas on Mondays and buy-one, get-one taco on Tuesdays. Rosslyn got another rooftop dining spot last month: a 360-degree cafe at the new Observation Deck. Beer and wine entered the mix this month.
The Yard Arlington is not to be confused with another The Yard, the Ritz-Carlton Georgetown’s outdoor urban garden situated across the Potomac River.
Rosslyn keeps adding more eating options. Fast-casual Mediterranean chain Cava opened this month at 1201 Wilson Boulevard and California import Poke Bar is scheduled to open in two months at 1735 Lynn Street.
