Poke Bar, the California import that’s planting its first fast-casual location in the area at the restaurant-packed Mosaic District complex, will serve half-price bowls of raw seafood-laden combos during its opening weekend.

The new arrival (8298 Glass Alley #100, Fairfax, Va.) had originally planned on supplying local diners with trendy poke creations last month but is now sending out email invitations offering half-off all poke bowls purchased on Thursday, July 19 and Friday, July 20.

“The wait is over! We are just one week away from Poke Bar DC’s first location opening!” the marketing blast reads. A grand opening is currently scheduled for Saturday, July 21. A second location is already in the works in Rosslyn (1735 Lynn Street, Arlington, Va.).

Poke Bar is projected to operate from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
