Lin Salvador was the former Head of Security for the Federal Bureau of Control and one of the five Bureau Heads prior to his death during the Hiss invasion. He was effectively succeeded by Simon Arish.
Background[]
When an incident happened sometime in April due to improper use of the Jukebox Altered Item which led to two fatalities who were both FBC agents, Salvador issued a formal security order to have the Jukebox moved to a secure location in the Executive Sector. This was done due to the locations security and proximity to a high-traffic area will prevent misuse, while still allowing for expedition teams to access it when required.
Salvador was involved with a threshold that manifested in the Containment Sector, in the middle of an unknown department, Simultaneously, numerous clocks appeared in the area, injuring and killing many FBC agents. Salvador organized rescue operations and after that sent Rangers in to discover the Threshold's epicenter but soon found out that the sheer amount of clocks made the expedition impossible. The area was sealed off after removing the clocks proved an impossible task. The department was relocated and the area abandoned. Salvador later compiled a report of the event named Sealed Threshold Account under the order of Director Zachariah Trench.
Salvador sent a correspondence called Arish: Security Matters to Arish after getting his message about Ahti and told him if anyone in the sector is asking about Ahti, just tell him you'll handle it and leave it at that. He stated that under no circumstances should any personnel intervene with Ahti day-to-day routine, stating that he told everything he knew about him so Arish could better deal with his odd habits, but most of the information is classified. Salvador also advised Arish to stay out of whatever is happing between Trench and Darling.
During the Hiss invasion of the Oldest House on October 29, 2019, Salvador attempted to lead a counterattack against the Hiss, but his security team was overrun in the Containment Sector. Salvador was corrupted by the Hiss and killed, becoming a Hiss Warped.

- According to The Art and Making of Control, Salvador's facial model was former Remedy employee Mikko Rautalahti. Rautalahti wrote the story for Alan Wake and Alan Wake's American Nightmare, and was Story Team Manager on Quantum Break.
