Rat's Journey, also known as Rat's Tale or Rat's Story is a comic arc where a character named Rat tries to find Cat's Cafe. It started on Aug 5, 2020. It is the longest story arc in the comic strip's history.

Summary of arc[]
Gator spent a long time drawing a picture of Cat's Cafe, but then decided that it was trash. Rat finds the drawing and decides that he wants to find a place like what Gator drew. He faces many problems along the way, but over time, finds Noot, who helps him on his journey.

August 5, 2020-March 14, 2021 with a lot of breaks in between.
Ep.1[]
Gator spent 10 hours drawing a picture and went to go show it to cat but...of course, due to his low self-esteem, he chickened out and threw it away because he is unaware of his skills. But Rat was in that trash can....
Ep.2[]
Rat thinks, There's gotta be a place like this out there! This calls for an adventure! As soon as Rat steps out of the trash can he is hit with a wave of emotions...lost, overwhelmed, alone, insignificant, scared. "Maybe I'll do it tomorrow"...
Ep.3[]
All of a sudden...THERE IS A BIG STORM! The bin trips over! the drawing starts to fly away with the wind...Rat has to follow it.
Ep.4[]
Yes! Rat got the drawing back! But now he needs to protect it. He treks through the rain. "*Sigh...* This will do". Rat had to sit under a leaf for the time being...
Ep.5[]
Rat is sitting under his leaf waiting out the storm...Depression looms over him. He can't seem to make any progress and now he was homeless. But he had to keep pushing...and there it was. The sun!
Ep.6[]
Rat might've been lost, He might've been on his own, but one thing was certain, his quest had begun. Then he heard music. Who was it? To be continued...

"Hi, I'm Noot who are you?"
"I'm Rat, could you help me with something? Have you seen this place?"
"Sorry Rat. I could play you a tune to help ye on yer journey. DON'T GIVE UP DON'T GIVE UP!"
Ep. 8[]
After Noot played music for Rat, Rat was about to say goodbye, but Noot wanted to go with Rat too!
Ep. 9[]
So they went together and helped each other. As long as they had each other, they'd be alright. Then they encountered a sign. Did they have to go left or right?
Ep. 10[]
Filled with crippling indesiscion, Rat fell to the floor to think. Noot questioned whether Rat was okay.
Ep. 11[]
Rats mind was full of 'what ifs' when Noot helped Rat up, and explains that you sometimes just have to get on with things.
Ep. 12[]
Just as Noot said that he and Rat should find shelter, they heard a rustle, another rustle, and a crunch. Then, something loomed out of the bushes! It was a monster! Noot and Rat started to run, and then they saw a light ahead. They bammed on the door and yelled for help. Then, Cat opened the door, and Noot and Rat explained that there was a monster. Hearing this, Rabbit started to freak out a bit. But it turned out to just be penguin, looking for a monster coffee.

Rat asks Cat if he knows where the drawing of the building is! Cat then says that they're here! hearing that made Rat so happy that Rat starts to cry of happiness
Ep.14[]
Cat asks them what they are going to do next. They proceed to say nothing, and making themselves comfortable at the cafe.
