W. Matthew Stevenson was a judge on the Florida Fourth District Court of Appeal. He retired on May 31, 2016.[1]
Judge Stevenson was appointed by Democratic Governor Lawton Chiles in 1994 and was most recently retained by voters in 2014.[2] His last term would have expired on January 4, 2021.[3][4]
Stevenson served as chief judge from July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2007.[2]

Stevenson received his bachelor's degree from Florida State University in 1975. He earned his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 1978.[2]
