The United States Mission to the United Nations (USUN) is the United States delegation to the United Nations. The USUN was created by Congress in 1947 in order "to assist the President and the Department of State in conducting United States policy at the United Nations."[1]

Linda Thomas-Greenfield was confirmed by the Senate as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations on February 23, 2021.
