Tuolumne County is one of 58 California counties. The Office of the Tuolumne County Registrar of Voters is responsible for the conduct of elections in the county, including elections on local ballot measures for all municipalities and school districts.

Summerville Union High School District, California, Measure B, School Bond Measure (November 2024):  ✖

A "yes" vote supported authorizing the school district to issue $13 million in bonds and enact a property tax, estimated at $17 per $100,000 of assessed property value, while the bonds are outstanding.

A "no" vote opposed authorizing the school district to issue $13 million in bonds and enact a property tax, estimated at $17 per $100,000 of assessed property value, while the bonds are outstanding.

Tuolumne County, California, Measure A, Measure Z Funds Advisory Measure (November 2024):  ✔

A "yes" vote supported advising Tuolumne County leadership to prioritize Measure Z funds for maintaining competitive deputy sheriff compensation, sustaining new and existing fire stations, and increasing rural, residential road maintenance if Measure Z is approved.

A "no" vote opposed advising Tuolumne County leadership to prioritize Measure Z funds for maintaining competitive deputy sheriff compensation, sustaining new and existing fire stations, and increasing rural, residential road maintenance if Measure Z is approved.

Tuolumne County, California, Measure Z, Sales Tax Measure (November 2024):  ✖

A "yes" vote supported increasing the sales tax rate from 7.25% to 8.25% in the unincorporated areas of Tuolumne County for 20 years to provide funding for services.

A "no" vote opposed increasing the sales tax rate from 7.25% to 8.25% in the unincorporated areas of Tuolumne County for 20 years to provide funding for services.

Sonora, California, Measure Y, Sales Tax Measure (November 2022):  ✔

A "yes" vote supported enacting a 1% sales tax for 20 years.

A "no" vote opposed enacting a 1% sales tax for 20 years.

Tuolumne County, California, Measure X, Unincorporated Areas Sales Tax Measure (November 2022):  ✖

A "yes" vote supported enacting a sales tax of 1% in unincorporated areas of the county for 10 years and allocating the tax revenue as follows: 40% for the sheriff's department; 40% for the fire services; and 20% for road services.

A "no" vote opposed enacting a sales tax of 1% in unincorporated areas of the county for 10 years and allocating the tax revenue as follows: 40% for the sheriff's department; 40% for the fire services; and 20% for road services.


June 7

Tuolumne South County Ambulance Zone, California, Measure W, Parcel Tax Renewal (June 2022):  ✔

A "yes" vote supported extending the annual $90.00 per parcel tax in South County Ambulance Zone of County Service Area No. 21, thereby generating $340,650 annually, for five years, to fund emergency medical services.

A "no" vote opposed extending the annual $90.00 per parcel tax in South County Ambulance Zone of County Service Area No. 21, thereby generating $340,650 annually, for five years, to fund emergency medical services.

A "yes" vote supported authorizing an annual parcel tax of $75 per unimproved parcel and $150 per improved parcel with a 2% annual inflation adjustment in order to provide an estimated $4.184 million per year in revenue.

A "no" vote opposed authorizing an annual parcel tax of $75 per unimproved parcel and $150 per improved parcel with a 2% annual inflation adjustment in order to provide an estimated $4.184 million per year in revenue.

A “no” vote opposed authorizing a hotel tax increase from 10% to 12% generating an estimated $1.85 million per year for general services including fire services, road maintenance, law enforcement, animal control, libraries and parks.
