|I received my PhD from the University of Michigan, studying Public Administration, urban planning and labor relations. I started Core Research, my consumer research business, 33 years ago to provide strategic planning, marketing and management consulting through research and data analysis to corporations, civic and non-profit firms.
My husband and I have lived in Castle Hills for 36 years, where we raised our children, who attended the NEISD schools. As Precinct Chair, my top priority has always been encouraging active voter participation.
I am running for County Commissioner in Precinct 3 because I care deeply about how our metro area must plan for growth while meeting community needs. Our great metro area must thrive as we continue to be a very popular destination for so many new arrivals. .We must start now to support expanded public safety, courts, housing, health care, transportation, parks and infrastructure initiatives, while in turn collaborating with the city and other governments to find ways to mitigate rising property tax assessments.
My website, www.VoteKobel.com describes specific issues under “blog” at the bottom right of the landing page.- Smart planning for our future
- Transparency and deliberate action
- Protect our votes through investment in the Elections Department
