Marucci Guzmán serves as Executive Director of the nonprofit community-based organization, Latino Leadership. Marucci created the Puerto Rico Family Response Center, serving more than 11,000 families displaced due to Hurricane Maria. She served two terms on the Orange County Library Board of Trustees working to protect access to books for our families and students. Additionally, Marucci established the Santiago & Friends | Family Center for Autism, to serve children with unique abilities and their families. A 2022 nominee for “Central Floridian of the Year” by the Orlando Sentinel, Marucci is a tireless advocate who fights for hardworking local families.

  • Marucci will stand up to any extremist threatening women’s healthcare freedom and reproductive rights because decisions about a woman’s health should be between her and her doctor, not radical Republicans.
  • Marucci believes all children—regardless of their ZIP code—deserve a quality education. She fights to make sure our local schools are fully funded, our teachers get the raises they deserve, and to keep Tallahassee politicians out of our classrooms.
  • Marucci is committed to protecting our community through commonsense gun safety like universal background checks and red flag laws.

Marucci Guzmán's professional and community passion is access to quality healthcare. Through her nonprofit work, Marucci helped establish a free clinic for the uninsured to address a gap in services. Additionally, Marucci dedicates a substantial amount of her advocacy energy to issues related to autism.
