|I am a 52 year old attorney, married and dog mom to 4 rescued dogs. I love football and baseball and love to read.
Professionally, I have been practicing for ten years. I went to law school at the age of 38 and graduated at the age of 41. I ran for office for the first time in 2020 when I ran as a first time candidate for Governor of Delaware and received a record number of votes.
I am down to earth yet direct. I am passionate and want to make a difference.
- Public Safety is Priority Number 1. The failure to prosecute criminals has reduced public safety.
- Crime is on the rise. We are not safer than we were 4 years ago because of the current Attorney General's soft-on-crime policies
- We have to get guns out of the hands of criminals. Since our current Attorney General took office almost 1000 people have been killed or wounded by guns in Delaware. Our current AG is dropping 85% of Possession of Firearm During Commission of a Felony and Possession of a Firearm by Person Prohibited - both crimes have minimum mandatory sentences
Public safety, crime and that justice should be blind and non-partisan. I am also passionate that we should be keeping politics out of the office of the Attorney General and that the job is about enforcing the law.
Absolutely. Delaware has an "F" rating in human trafficking so that is an area I would emphasize. I would also emphasize prosecuting gun crimes to the fullest extent of the law so that we can get guns out of the hands of criminals.
There are two that i consider the most important: 1) Setting the tone with law enforcement that crimes are going to be prosecuted and 2) Being the People's Lawyer. The Office has a robust civil division that helps the citizens of Delaware and I think that is important. However, because I consider safety to be "higher" in the hierarchy of needs we have to first address the rampant crime in Delaware.
I am down to earth and direct. The citizens of Delaware need an Attorney General that will be be transparent and communicate with them about what is happening in the office
I'm Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves

Campaign website
Murray's campaign website stated the following:
“ |
Prioritize Public Safety We the citizens of Delaware should not be afraid to walk to our cars in a parking lot or to walk on the streets of our neighborhoods. We should not have to think about what we are going to do if an angry mob surrounds our car. Yet we do have to think about it. The reality is that we have a shortage of law enforcement and, in many instances, criminals are not being secured while charges are pending. While we have to be concerned about the constitutional rights of pretrial defendants, public safety has to be the priority. As Attorney General I will act as the Top Cop and will back law enforcement that discharge their duties lawfully. I will also direct my deputies to argue for appropriate security for defendants that presents a public safety risk.
Political parties should not matter for the Office of the Attorney General. We don’t need an Activist General that politicizes the office by lobbying to end cash bail and drops charges to gain political favor. The job of the Attorney General is to enforce the law. The political party of the Attorney General should not matter – yet it currently does. As Attorney General I will enforce the law and give no consideration to what is politically popular
Quite simply – we have an Attorney General that is choosing not to prosecute many crimes. Law enforcement is frustrated. Victims of crimes that are not prosecuted have no remedy and criminals are emboldened. We need to prosecute. We have to send a message that if you break the law in Delaware you are going to suffer consequences. To not do this is sending the wrong message and essentially inviting criminal activity into Delaware. As Attorney General I will prosecute.[4] |

|I'm not a career politician. I'm an outsider and attorney, who is running to restore balance to our state for all of us. For the past 27 years, Delaware's governorship has been dominated by one-party career politicians. The Delaware Way has become the way of picking winners and losers based upon influence and donations. I have the energy, vision and integrity to to hit the refresh button to restore people's faith in our elected officials. I am committed to making our state government works for us - not against us. You can count on me to always put people ahead of politics. This election is "We the People" versus "Career Politicians."
I have a backbone and fight for the underdog. Sadly, there are a lot of underdogs in Delaware. We need to help small businesses that create the majority of new jobs. That's why I have written the Small Business Bill of Rights. During this pandemic, big box stores were allowed to reopen because they had lobbyists. Our local mom-and-pop stores didn't have lobbyists and they were forced to close.
- Rebuild the Economy. In order to safely rebuild our economy we need to help small businesses that create the majority of new jobs. That's why I have written the Small Business Bill of Rights. During this pandemic, big box stores were allowed to reopen because they had lobbyists. Our local mom-and-pop stores don't have lobbyists and they were forced to close. As the next Governor, I'll make sure everyone has a seat at the table.
- Restoring balance in state government
- Reducing crime and improving education
I am most passionate about defending our constitutional rights which have been under assault by the incumbent governor. He has restricted our freedom and liberties for over 7 months.
I am also passionate about our economy. Our current governor has never worked in the private sector and has broken the back of the private sector with his restrictions.
Finally, I am passionate about our educational system. There is too much red tape and wasteful spending that is costing our children.
Integrity and backbone. A commitment to making decisions that are in the best interest of the citizens of the state and not just special interests.
I have integrity and am compassionate but have a backbone and will fight for what is right and fair regardless of the socioeconomic status, gender, race, age, religion or any other classification.
That I improved the lives of all of the citizens of Delaware in some way.
My very first job was as an administrative assistant in a law firm. I started as a sophomore in high school and worked at the same firm until I graduated.
Peaceful Easy Feeling by the Eagles
That the buck stops with me. I am ultimately responsible for the welfare of the citizens of the State.
Economic stability
Public Safety
Preparing our children to become productive adults
Development and presentment of the budget for approval by the General Assembly
In the context of the budget, when "pork" that is clearly not related a particular appropriation the line-item veto is appropriate.
A collaborative relationship that goes beyond political parties. There needs to be mutual respect.
It's size because it brings about a familiarity and friendliness.
Rebuilding the economy and getting the word out that Delaware is open for business.
Rebuilding the city of Wilmington
Re-engineering public education
