James Z. Davis was a judge on the Utah Court of Appeals. He was appointed to this position by Governor Michael O. Leavitt in November 1993.[1] He was retained in 2014 for a term that would have expired on January 3, 2021.[2] He retired in November 2015 and died on February 27, 2016.[3]

Davis received his J.D. from the University of Utah College of Law in 1968.[1]
