Russell Bench
Russell W. Bench was a judge on the Utah Court of Appeals. He was appointed to this position in 1986 by Gov. Bangerter and took office in January of 1987.[1] Bench retired from the court on December 31, 2009.[2]
Education
Judge Bench received his law degree from the University of Utah College of Law in 1976 and his Master of Public Administration degree from Brigham Young University in 1985.[1]
Career
After law school, Judge Bench began his legal career as a law clerk for Chief Justices F. Henri Henriod and Gordon Hall of the Utah Supreme Court. He then worked as a central staff attorney for the Utah Supreme Court. He joined the Court of Appeals in 1987.[1]
