2016

The following issues were listed on Huerta's campaign website. For a full list of campaign themes, click here.

  • Education: Simply put, we suffer from an educational attainment gap. When in congress, I will dedicate myself to closing this gap and ensure that the educational needs of all my constituents are met.
  • Jobs: In conjunction with community businesses and local governments, I will work hard to create an infrastructure for sustainable economic growth.
  • Water: Water is the lifeline of the Central Valley. The current drought has been detrimental to our families and farmers. I will fight hard to ensure we protect and conserve our most valuable natural resource.[5]
