|- I believe that the military should never be sent into a conflict without a declaration from Congress. Our men and women of the armed services are not pawns in the governments game of chess. I propose closing all overseas military bases and reopening bases here in the US that were closed during BRAC. I want our military men and women here in the US, training to defend US soil and brining thousands of jobs to areas that were hurt by the US base closures.
- I want to completely change the way we handle immigration here in the US. The immigration process should take a couple days, not years to complete. I want to work with other countries to share information so our background checks can be done quickly and accurately. I want a processing center at every major border crossing so people can get the ID they need to work legally and pursue the American Dream.
- I feel there needs to be massive criminal justice reform in the US. I feel putting non violent offenders in cages with violent offenders is a waste of tax payer money and harming people that have a real chance at turning their lives around. I feel that things like the War on Drugs has been a utter failure and we need to focus on decriminalization and treatment over punishment.
