Boho115 Closes Suddenly, Among Other Restaurants Shuttered in October 2024

The popular seafood spot in Decatur closed this morning, more Georgia breweries are shuttered, and a coffee shop at Halidom Eatery serves its last cup

Boho115 in Decatur announces sudden closure

The popular seafood restaurant Boho115 in Decatur Square announced its closure on social media on October 21. Known for seafood tacos, tinned fish boards, and vermouth and cava selections, the restaurant opened in May 2022. The announcement for the closure came after the team took a week off for Fall break.

Grind Time Coffee Co. has closed at Halidom Eatery

The Black and female-owned cafe, Grind Time Coffee Co., closed on October 8 at Halidom Eatery food hall in Woodland Hills. The shop announced the closure on their Instagram page and said they plan to return to a different location. Grind Time Coffee Co. opened in late July.

Elsewhere Brewing is closing both locations

In a slew of Georgia breweries closing (Eventide closed in August, Orpheus Brewing closed last year, among others), Elsewhere Brewing announced on their Instagram that both Grant Park and West Midtown locations will close on October 27. The reason stated was a reduction in sales by 40 to 50 percent. Elsewhere Brewing has stayed in business for four years. The brewery has events planned throughout the month before it closes.

Uncle Jack’s on Canton Street in Historic Roswell Georgia is listed for sale

Uncle Jack’s on Canton Street announced the closing of their restaurant on social media in September. Now the property is for sale, according to The Shumacher Group. The steakhouse serving American classics remains open in Duluth and Peachtree Corners.

Dil Bahar Cafe in Norcross closed temporarily

The popular Pakistani cafe, Dil Bahar, temporarily closed its Norcross location, according to Google and the cafe’s Instagram post. A new location opened in Sandy Springs in late September and remains open with daily lunch specials. The reason for the temporary closing of the Norcross location, which was on Eater Atlanta’s 38 roundup, was not revealed.

BoruBoru Sushi announces closure by the end of the month

After eight years in business, BoruBoru Sushi announced on its Instagram that the restaurant in Emory Point will close with a final dinner service on October 30.

“While this chapter is closing, we hope that our path may cross again in the future,” the statement reads. “Please accept our heartfelt thanks for being more than just a customer. We will cherish the memories and the relationships we have built.”

Pea Ridge Kitchen and Bar in Decatur listed for sale

Longtime neighborhood restaurant in Decatur, Pea Ridge Kitchen and Bar, is now listed for sale, according to The Shumacher Group. It is priced at $150,000. The restaurant, owned by Aaron and Lindsay Zarczynski on Lawrenceville Highway, is still open with no clear indication of last service. It serves lunch, dinner, and brunch.
