WEST OTTAWA â The Shelby Tigers competed in the Panther Invitational Sept. 14 and wound up getting swept in four games with each one being best of three sets.
ONEKAMA â The Hart volleyball team traveled to Onekama on Saturday to compete in the Onekama Invitational, falling to the host school in the finals, 25-23, 25-21.
CUSTER â The Walkerville volleyball squad was swept by Mason County Eastern 3-0 Sept. 11.
MESICK â Pentwater was forced to play with six players but found a way to defeat Mesick Sept. 5 in five sets, 3-1.
SHELBY â The Tigers volleyball squad remained undefeated at they defeated a very tough Hart team, 3-1 Sept. 3, where all but the final set was close.
WALKERVILLE â The Wildcats volleyball squad fell behind 2 sets to none against Muskegon Heights and things didnât look good from there.
PENTWATER â Despite a current lack of bench strength, Pentwater volleyball gave Muskegon Catholic Central a battle for much of the game, but it wasnât enough as the Crusaders beat the Falcons 3 sets to 1 on Aug. 27.
PENTWATER â The Hesperia Panthers went into Pentwater August 21 and walked away with a victory, defeating Pentwater in three straight sets.

The Shelby Tigers volleyball team had to get contributions from everyone on the court because it was a team of only eight players, but it still found a way to win its third straight district, second straight league title and make it to the regional semifinal.
MCBAIN â The Shelby Tigers season came to an end Tuesday, Nov. 7 as the third-ranked Traverse City St. Francis Gladiators defeated them, 3-0, in the regional semifinals in McBain.
HESPERIA â The Shelby Tigers volleyball team are the 2023 district champions after defeating the Morley-Stanwood Mohawks last Thursday three sets to one in Hesperia.
HESPERIA â The Hesperia Panthers volleyball team bowed out of the first round of the MHSAA Division 3 district Monday night, falling to Holton, 3-0.
Hart's volleyball team was unable to knock off Ludington in an MHSAA Division 2 district quarterfinal match Monday night, falling to the Orioles in three games.
