HUMBUG Executive
This is the HUMBUG Exec wiki. It is a private space for the exec to use to conduct its business. A place to put our knowledge so that it may be passed onto the next Exec. Please note that not all the role summaries etc have been filled out. This is still very much a young page.
Roles and Responsibilities
As part of the HUMBUG Exec you have roles and responsibilities. The job of this section is to let you know what those roles and responsibilities are. To this end please edit your section with what you need to know to do your job. This is important as it will help the next person that takes your job know what they need to know.
Exec
Roles that must be performed by all members. This is a list of roles that all members must abide by.
President The President is the head of the HUMBUG Club. He/she needs to know how to lead as well as when to delegate.
Treasurer The Treasurer's role is to deal with the HUMBUG finance
Secretary The Secretary's job involves being the point of contact.
Non Exec Roles
Talks Liaison The Job for the Talks Liaison is to run the Talks at HUMBUG and to encourage people to submit and attend those talks.
System Administration The Systems Administrators are responsible for the ongoing management of HUMBUG's server and the services it provides on the Internet such as this web site, mailing lists, member aliases and many other services.
General Procedures
The general procedures area is designed to cover a broad range of activities that need to take place. These are as follows.
Membership Management This goes the basic process of signing people up and where you can find important details. For example emergency contact information.
Change of Signature This goes into how you can change the signature details on the HUMBUG account.
The contact details for our humbug.org.au DNS name requires a contact phone number for each of the 3 contact records (Admin, Billing and Tech). This must be changed to be a member of the incoming Executive.
Exec Meetings These are an essential part of HUMBUG. An Exec Meeting is where the Exec comes together to vote on new Non Exec roles, the spending of group money etc.
Minutes of Exec Meetings The minutes of the Exec meetings are there for all to see and to view. The aim this AGM year is to provide reports on what and how the Exec are going. To show what work we have done.
Goals and Tasks The idea behind this page is to note what our goals are and what we need to do. Example: Set up the room bookings.
