THE GOLDEN BIRD OF SCIENCE HAS ESCAPED THE DEADEND CAGE OF MATERIALISM






DEATH IS NOT THE END OF CONSCIOUSNESS

This is a follow-on to my last post: WHY DO WE AND OUR LOVED ONES HAVE TO SUFFER AND DIE? In that post, I tried to explain why and how birth into a physical body and the eventual death of that body is not the end, but  just part of the duality that allows the soul to grow from minimal self-awareness to the eventual goal of Cosmic Consciousness. This post is a glimpse into this process in a more personal way, made more real to me by the recent passing of Jacqui, the love of my life.


In the previous post, I expressed the view of many at this point in time, the view that death is simply the end, in the following way:


“It seems that we are painfully born into an on-going story - not of our making - but in which we must act and interact, and over which we have little or no control, and from which we will depart in pain and suffering again. It is reasonable to ask: what is the reason for this? It seems very unfair. One answer … is that there is no answer, no reason. Our existence is an accident brought about by random events, and our experience of the world is ultimately meaningless:


Of course, the point of the post was that this is an illusion, that it is not true; that consciousness cannot be destroyed. It is what Eastern philosophies call “Maya”, what Christian mystics call ”Worldly Delusion”, and the realization that it is untrue is enlightenment, and the basis of “being saved”. Unfortunately, it is the dominant belief among scientists today, most of whom are either atheists or agnostics.


It is important to understand the difference between atheism and agnosticism. Atheism is the arrogant belief that there is no higher intelligence in the universe, no reason beyond the finite logic of the physical brain, and when the electro-chemical functioning of the brain ceases, consciousness is gone. Agnosticism, on the other hand, is simply honest skepticism, an attitude that a scientist should have about any question -  until there is evidence to the contrary. And there is evidence to the contrary of the shallow belief system called atheism. Let me amplify this with some personal experiences.


In 1996, Jacqui and I attended the “Toward a Science of Consciousness, Tucson II” Conference at the University of Arizona, Tucson, where I did a poster presentation of my paper “The Case for the Non-quantum Receptor”. After one of the sessions, I asked a well-known physicist if he had started meditating yet. He answered: “No, why should I?” and walked away before I could reply. If I had had a chance to reply, I would have said: Because you will never understand consciousness until you do!


It is also important to understand what meditation is not. It is not the various practices called meditation techniques, like physical postures, exercises, breath control, and mental focusing methods, etc. It’s not prayer or ritual, either. These practices and techniques can only bring you to the threshold of meditation. Meditation is direct contact with Primary Consciousness, the spiritual essence that underlies all reality. The practice of meditation techniques is like diving for pearls, diving deeper and deeper each time, until your consciousness merges with the “priceless pearl” of Primary Consciousness. No one can adequately describe this to you, it can only be understood by direct experience.


I could describe for you the serious scientific studies being carried out today by members of the Academy for the Advancement of Postmaterialist Sciences, and other academic groups, that strongly support the reality of the existence of consciousness as spirit independent of bodily physical vehicles, but those descriptions are available in papers and publications by scientists like Dean Radin, Gary Schwartz, Marjorie Woollacott,  Imants Baruss, Stephan Schwartz, Mario Beauregard, Neppe, and Close, and many others. Just google these names and read their books and papers. For now, let me return to my personal objective experiences of spiritual reality.


We live in a world of life and death and seeming uncertainty. But, anyone who has even glimpsed the priceless pearl, the blazing gem at the heart of the lotus of the human mind, knows that the experience of the uncertainties of life and death is just a very persistent illusion meant to challenge us to go beyond appearances and become the spiritual beings we are meant to be. One evening in September of 1960, I experienced what Jesus meant when he said; “The light of the body is the eye; If, therefore, thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be filled with light.” I’ve written about it in Chapter 8, The Doorway of Light, in my book Transcendental Physics, readily available from Amazon and other sources on line. In this experience, one that happened during Kriya Yoga initiation, the energy centers called “chakras” converged to form one brilliant light. From that point forward, my life changed. I knew the purpose and meaning of my life. I’ve shared some of this realization on this blog.


Recently, I experienced the loss of the presence of my soulmate Jacqui’s physical form, but re-confirmed the survival of the consciousness of our loved ones beyond their brief tenure in physical bodies. In our new book, Secrets of the Sacred Cube, a Cosmic Love Story, Jacqui and I describe some of our first-hand experiences of the existence of consciousness beyond the physical body. This book should be available soon.


Since the new book went to press, I have had even more evidence of the reality of spiritual life beyond the grave. In a double-blind experiment arranged by others, Jacqui produced undeniable evidence of her continued existence as a thinking, loving being. Because it is in the form of data from an exploratory double-blind scientific experiment, this evidence will probably be published in a future paper and/or book.


The bottom line here is: Spirituality is no longer a subjective belief. With the discovery of gimmel, the existence of spiritual reality behind the appearances of the physical universe is measurable, and spiritual experience can now be studied by applying the scientific method and mathematical proof. The golden bird of science has at last escaped the dead-end cage of materialism!

WHY DO WE AND OUR LOVED ONES HAVE TO SUFFER AND DIE?



WHY DO WE FACE A DEATH SENTENCE FROM THE DAY WE ARE BORN?

A Facebook friend has asked a question:


Maybe you can explain the reason for the mandatory death of a person – you, your parents, your children and all others?” - Valery Chuprin



I Believe that this is an important question, and that there is a good answer to this question. Here’s my answer:


It seems that we enter this world through pain and suffering, that of ourselves and of our mothers, knowing not where we came from, or why we are here. But we soon see that other people, like mother, father, sisters, and brothers, relatives and non-relatives, all die sooner or later, and by inference, we come to realize that our ultimate fate will most likely also be death, by some form of bodily destruction: accident, disease or old age.


It seems that we are painfully born into an on-going story - not of our making - but in which we must act and interact, and over which we have little or no control, and from which we will depart in pain and suffering again. It is reasonable to ask: what is the reason for this? It seems very unfair.


One answer, put forth by some, is that there is no answer, no reason. Our existence is an accident brought about by random events, and our experience of the world is ultimately meaningless. Examples of this thinking:


Shakespeare’s Macbeth (Act II, Scene I) : "Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more: it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."


About the fate of man, based on the second law of thermodynamics, the British philosopher Bertrand Russell said he believed that: “…his origin, his growth, his hopes and fears, his loves and his beliefs are but the outcome of accidental collocations of atoms; that no fire, no heroism, no intensity of thought and feeling can preserve an individual life beyond the grave; that all the labour of the ages, all the devotion, all the inspiration, all the noonday brightness of human genius are destined to extinction in the vast death of the solar system, and that the whole temple of Man's achievement must inevitably be buried beneath the debris of a universe in ruins.”


The attitude of Shakespeare’s character and England’s Nobel laurate philosopher, is echoed and updated to modern physics in America’s Nobel Prize-winning physicist Steven Weinberg’s statement: “The more the universe seems comprehensible, the more it also seems pointless.” This is by far the dominant hypothesis of modern science.


While, as a physicist, I respect Steven Weinberg and agree with some of his views, I do not agree with this conclusion that reality is meaningless. My reasons for not agreeing are both scientific and experiential. The scientific reason first: In 1989 I developed a system of mathematical logic I call the calculus of distinctions. Applying it to certain popular scientific hypotheses, like the big bang, expanding universe theory, and Olber’s paradox, I discovered some logical contradictions that led to the realization that the calculus of Newton and Leibniz was inappropriate for application to quantum phenomena. Deriving a three-dimensional quantum equivalence unit that I called the triadic rotational unit of equivalence (TRUE), and using it as the basic unit of a new calculus, I developed a quantum mathematics that I call the calculus of dimensional distinctions (CoDD). In this system of quantum mathematical logic, all descriptions of physical phenomena are in the form of Diophantine equations; i.e., equations whose meaningful quantum solutions are integral.


In 2008, I joined forces with Dr. Vernon Neppe, a true polymath, who, among other things is a neuroscientist, to develop a comprehensive new paradigm we call the Triadic Dimensional Vortical Paradigm. In 2010, we began explaining some experimental observations that have no viable explanation in the current mainstream physical paradigm, such as why the elementary particles that form the atoms of the periodic table, have a ½ intrinsic spin, why the quark “mixing angle” is exactly what it is, and why quarks combine in threes to form protons and neutrons.  


Applying the CoDD to the description of known atomic structure in 2012, I discovered there would be no stable atoms without the existence of a non-physical form that organizes otherwise sterile physical particles into meaningful structures consistent with the logic of consciousness, supportive of organic life, the vehicle through which consciousness expresses itself in the physical universe. This was something new, something unknown to modern science to this point, so we had to represent it unambiguously, and Dr. Neppe suggested calling it “gimmel” the third letter of the Hebrew alphabet, for a number of reasons. The discovery of gimmel changed everything. It reveals that consciousness is just as much a part of reality as matter and energy; in fact, it is not only fundamental, it is primary in the formation of the physical structures of the universe. Importantly, as the primary form of the triad of mass, energy and mind, consciousness, like mass and energy obeys the law of conservation of the substance of reality. This means that consciousness, like mass and energy, can undergo changes, but cannot be destroyed. With consciousness as the primary form, guiding elementary particles to form meaningful physical structures, all evolution is driven by the mathematical logic of consciousness, known traditionally as spirit.


Now, I can introduce the second reason I cannot agree with the hypothesis that existence is meaningless: the conscious experience of spiritual phenomena. Many people, including me, have had near-death experiences (NDEs) out-of-body experiences (OBEs), and pre-birth memories that have been corroborated and validated by objective observation. Some have had transcendental or mystical experiences. The discovery of gimmel and its mathematical relation to consciousness provides the scientific basis for the study of such experiences and the functioning of consciousness in the physical domain, including real NDE and OBE experiences such as seeing objects and events while outside the body, that can be validated later, and the reality of the survival of consciousness beyond the experience of the death of the physical body. The discovery of gimmel puts consciousness into the equations of physics. Thus we have a new science that transcends physical science. Such studies and experiments are being conducted in a few laboratories around the world now.


So, to answer my friend Valery’s question: I explain the death of the physical bodies of our loved ones and our selves as part of the spiritual journey of individualized consciousness. I discuss this in some of my posts, and in  much more detail in Secrets of the Sacred Cube, a Cosmic Love Story, the forth-coming book by my late wife Jacqui and myself. The book is in the final stages of production and should be available shortly.


Why do we have to suffer and die? To learn, and grow spiritually, to transcend the physical. You may not remember, but you chose to be born, to experience the dualities of pleasure and pain. the one does not exist without the other. Identification with the physical body brings both pleasure and pain, Through this process, we learn that we are not the body, we are eternal spirit, growing from the confinement of the finite body, through Christ Consciousness, to Cosmic Consciousness.

REALITY MADE SIMPLE



THE MATHEMATICS OF REALITY MADE SIMPLE

I want to ask you to humor me today and indulge with me in some simple mathematics. Contrary to what many people think, mathematics will not make your head explode. In fact, your head, and everything else, operates on principles of pure mathematics. The universe and everything that’s in it, is a mathematical expression of thoughts in the mind of God. If you dread and fear mathematics as something that will make you feel stupid, it’s because you’ve been programmed by the backward and heavy-handed way mathematics is taught in our schools. Today, I want to give you a glimpse of how simple the mathematics of reality can be. Reality is mathematical, and math is reality.


Reality is comprised of mass, energy, space, time and consciousness; nothing more, nothing less. “Wait a minute!” I hear you say, “Now you are talking about physics!” And that’s another subject you’ve been assiduously taught to dread as unbelievably complicated and difficult. It’s not. It’s simple mathematics. Contrary to what some elitist, ego-driven mainstream physicists revel in making us believe, physics is the simplest of the sciences. All complete mathematical descriptions of reality are reducible to relationships between only five simple things, mass, energy, space, time, and consciousness, but no description of reality is complete without all five. These five things are quantized in nature. That means that they are multiples of some small unit called a quantum. That’s all, nothing complicated. When everything is measured in three-dimensional quantum equivalence units, everything is in integers, whole number multiples of quantum units, and all the complex abstract mathematics mainstream physicists like to dazzle you with, fall away as the illusions they are.


With the discovery and empirical validation of gimmel as a quantum of consciousness, we can no longer speak of matter and energy or space and time alone, consciousness must be included, otherwise the natural symmetry and stability that holds the universe together is lost. E = mc2, for example, is incomplete. Let E represent energy, m represent mass, s represent space, and t represent time. Then, reducing the equation it to its primary elements we have E = m(s/t)2. What is missing? Consciousness. So the problem for us now, is how do we include consciousness in the equations of science? The simplest expression describing reality is R = f(m,E,s,t,C). Read this as: Finite reality is a function of mass, energy, space, time and consciousness, period. To find out what that function looks like, we need only reduce the equations of science to expressions in multi-dimensional quantum equivalence units of mass, energy, space, time, and consciousness. Reality is completely described in equations in variable of three dimensions of space, three dimensions of time, and three dimensions of consciousness. The first equations I transformed into quantum equivalence units were the simple equations representing the combinations of quarks that form protons and neutrons. Everything else follows from there.


We take things apart to understand how things work, and through that understanding to manipulate reality. This has its good and bad aspects, but without an understanding of what reality is, the outcomes are mostly bad. We pay for the advantage of manipulating reality by suffering from the degradation of our natural environment. Real science re-integrates all things again so that we begin to understand what reality really is. As the cartoon character Pogo said: “We has met the enemy, and he is us!”


So Transcendental Physics and the Triadic Dimensional Vortical Paradigm (TDVP) are nothing more than putting the humpty-dumpty of particle physics back together again! Mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and any other ology you may know about, are not really different things. They are all fragments of the same thing. Just as the Large Hadron Collider seeks to understand an atom by destroying it, the specialized “ologies” of mainstream science destroy the holism of reality. It is time to put things back together again.  When reunited by the calculus of dimensional distinctions in quantum equivalence units, natural science is reborn, and we begin to understand the nature of reality.

THE GRAND ILLUSION


Time and space, however persistent they may seem to be, are illusions.


Matter and energy are much less persistent than time and space,

and they’re not what they seem to be.


All four are manifestations of consciousness, fleeting as a lightening flash.


The truth is neither “out there”, nor in the X-files; it is deep within.


If you go deep enough, the truth you’ll find is the same for everyone.


There is no evidence that consciousness is plural, that matter is real,

that energy is eternal, that time is linear, or that space can exist by itself,


Yet we dream that these illusions are real. Why not try to wake?

 We sleep as solid matter, we stir as energy, we dream as plants and animals,


And we wake as God.
