Sako Toshio (迫 稔雄, Sako Toshio; "Toshio Sako") is a Japanese mangaka and the mangaka of Usogui. He is also the mangaka for Batuque.
History[]
He was born in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture. After graduating high school he got a job as a barber. When he was around 28-years old, he realized he wanted to become a mangaka. He became Hinata Takeshi's assistant, without pay. He learned a lot of manga techniques under Takeshi.
Before becoming serialized, he created numerous one-shots for manga contests. One of them involved karate. "Usokui" was his first published manga.

He is married with a daughter and a dog. He practices capoeira.
