Fintech mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in the Americas reached 39.5 billion U.S. dollars in 2024, marking a significant decline from the previous year. While deal values peaked at 97.4 billion U.S. dollars in 2019, the number of transactions reached its highest point in 2021 before falling to 287 deals in 2024.
