The Akihabara massacre (Japanese: ç§èåéãéäºä»¶, Hepburn: Akihabara TÅrima Jiken) was an incident of mass murder that took place on 8 June 2008, in the Akihabara shopping quarter in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan.
