Trivia[]
- This is the fourth of only five episodes when Donald Duck wears nothing but a pair swimming shorts when he enters the water. This is the first episode where Donald's swimming shorts have a yellow stripe on each side. He is seen wearing a life jacket when he tries to go surfing and this is also the first time Minnie and Mickey have flip-flops while Pete's are slides.
- This is the first episode where Daisy Duck wears a purple bikini swimsuit with a pink four-petaled daisy on her bikini bra and purple sunglasses.
- This is the first episode where Goofy wears an orange Hawaiian shirt with yellow flowers and blue pants.
- This episode is the first to air after Wayne Allwine's death, because Bret Iwan didn't replace him as the voice of Mickey Mouse in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse up until season 4, starting with the episode, "Mickey and Donald Have a Farm". After his death, recordings of Wayne Allwine's voice of Mickey continued to be used from the rest of season 2 up until all of season 3.
- This episode aired in Australia and New Zealand on January 23, 2009.
- This episode uses a beach theme for Toodles following "Mickey Goes Fishing", which used a rock and roll theme.
- This episode was produced in 2008 according to the credits.
- Unsurprisingly, if one hears closely, Goofy doesn't use his original "Oh Toodles" line from Goofy the Homemaker, instead it's a new recording of it. This would later happen again in Pop Star Minnie.
