"Sail Away Treasure" is the first segment of the forty-first episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It premiered on November 27, 2012 alongside "The Mystery of Mysterious Island!", and is the first segment of the sixteenth episode in the second season.
Plot[]
Jake and his crew discover a treasure map stuck on the sail of a shipwrecked boat on Shipwreck Beach.
Synopsis[]
Jake and his crew are sailing toward Never Land, when something on Shipwreck Beach catches their eyes. It is a small, wrecked ship, with a bird figurehead on the front which is called the Leaky Beak. The young pirates think it is perfect for Skully. Captain Hook, who is nearby, laughs and says: "That pitiful pile of planks will never be a ship, it's barnacle bait". That makes Skully upset, so Jake and the crew decide to mend the old ship for him and give it a new coat of paint.
Skully is ready to take the the Leaky Beak out to sea, but Jake says that they need to check the sail first. When the crew unfurls the sail, they find a treasure map on it. The map leads to a treasure on Never Ever Peak Mountain, which is indicated on the map as being near Skybird Island. When Hook learns about this, he wants the map sail and ship for himself. To everyone's surprise, the ship has wings and can fly. For flying away from Hook, they earn two gold doubloons. This makes Hook determined to get the ship, so he and Smee take off after them in the Whirlie-Hook.
They reach Never Ever Peak Mountain and find the treasure, only to discover it's locked. They take it to Skybird Island, earning four more gold doubloons. There, they meet Princess Winger and the Wise Old Parrot. The Wise Old Parrot reveals to Skully that he used to own the Leaky Beak. Suddenly, Hook and Smee arrive and steal the Leaky Beak, flying away with it. When they finally open the Wise Old Parrot's treasure, it turns out to be a whistle that summons the Skybird Island guards. When Hook blows the whistle, the Parrot Guards arrive and seize Hook, carrying him away. Smee attempts to rescue him, but accidentally flips a switch that causes the Leaky Beak's wings to unfold, and the ship begins to fall. Izzy quickly uses her pixie dust to fly to the Leaky Beak and stop it from falling, rescuing Mr. Smee, and earn four more gold doubloons. The Wise Old Parrot then tells Skully that he's giving him the Leaky Beak as a way of saying thank you, making him the new captain.
Back on Pirate Island, Jake and his crew put all the gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest. Cubby then pretends to be a bird by flapping leaves. On the Jolly Roger, Captain Hook vows to never see another bird again when Bones shows him a bag of birdie-seed. Captain Hook takes it for himself before seagulls lift him out of the Jolly Roger and into the sky.
