"Rise of the Pirate Pharaoh" is the first segment of the ninety-eighth episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It premiered on October 17, 2015 alongside "The Golden Hook", and is the first segment of the third episode in the fourth season.
Plot[]
The Pirate Mummy is giving Captain Jake and his crew a tour of Pharaoh Valley aboard Bucky. They come across the Great Buried Pyramid and the great statue of Anubis, a man with a dog's head. As the tour is about to end, Bucky activates a control, causing sand to fall and unravel a buried tomb. Jake and his crew go to explore it with the Pirate Mummy. They are impressed with what the tomb contains, and Skully spots two mummies. The Pirate Mummy knows a cat mummy sounds familiar when Cubby finds a crook and flail. He taps them together, causing the mummies to wake up.
The Pirate Pharaoh is glad to be awake again, and awakens his companion, Otaa. The Pirate Pharaoh is eager to return to his lush, green valley to smell the flowers, pick sweet dates, and sip from the rushing Never Nile. To do so, he has to use his crook and flail to bring his sphinx to life to pull the royal chariot. The Pirate Pharaoh is unable to locate the crook and flail until he spots Cubby with them. Jake's crew and the Pirate Mummy quickly retreat with the Pirate Pharaoh and the sphinx in pursuit. According to the Pirate Mummy, the Pirate Pharaoh ruthlessly ruled the valley with cruelty and magic while not liking intruders.
The Pirate Pharaoh is shocked that the valley is not what it used to be, as while he and Otaa slept, Queen Patracleo turned the paradise into a wasteland. The Pirate Pharaoh vows to use his power to bring the great Anubis to life so that he can smash open the cliff to release the great torrent. Izzy assumes that it sounds scary, so Jake's crew and the Pirate Mummy follow the Pirate Pharaoh. Later, the Pirate Pharaoh releases ancient scarabs, but Jake fights them off. The Pirate Pharaoh then activates a sandstorm, so Bucky uses his sails like fans to make it go away.
The Pirate Pharaoh arrives at the giant statue of Anubis. He uses the crook and flail to bring the Anubis to life so that he can release the great torrent. Jake tells the Pirate Pharaoh to stop, but the Anubis starts to break open the cliff. Bucky then equips his wings and flies around the Anubis, causing him to fall and break into pieces, upsetting the Pirate Pharaoh. Jake assumes that the Pirate Pharaoh is the bad guy, but the Pirate Pharaoh states that he was only trying to return a great valley to its lush, green beauty by releasing the Never Nile, which Queen Patracleo blocked up behind the stone cliff. Jake and his crew finally realize it, and Jake apologizes to the Pirate Pharaoh for making a big mistake thinking he was gonna do something really bad. Izzy uses her Pixie Dust on Jake's crew, the Pirate Mummy, and the staff, which they use to break open the cliff, releasing the Never Nile and restoring the Pirate Pharaoh's kingdom once again. The Pirate Pharaoh and Otaa then go to rebuild their kingdom, leaving dust behind. The Pirate Mummy knows the Pirate Pharaoh didn't thank Jake and his crew, and Skully is revealed to be allergic to cat mummies.
Back on Pirate Island, Jake and his crew put all the gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest. Another sandstorm arrives, but it is actually Skully using one of Bucky's fans to cool off.
