When a new player who won’t share causes his players to quit, Pete calls the gang to play a baseball game.
Plot[]
The episode begins with the gang entering Funny, having received a call from Powerhouse Pete to play for his baseball team in Sportstopia. The gang enters Sportstopia, and Mickey allows Pluto to play with Champion Chip and Dynamo Dale, reminding him to share and take turns.
The gang enters the stadium, where Pete tells them that his original team quit because a new member, Ruthie, kept catching the ball and refused to share. The gang agrees to fill in for Pete's team. While playing, however, Ruthie keeps catching all the balls and gives no one else a chance. Pete is eventually forced to bench Ruthie for not sharing, but she is unable to understand and she leaves. Mickey suggests getting her to come back, but Pete says to let her figure things out.
Ruthie eventually runs into Pluto, who also doesn't have anyone to play with; Chip and Dale stopped playing with him because he kept refusing to share the ball and frisbee. Ruthie gets into a game of soccer with Pluto, but Pluto begins hogging the ball again. Ruthie helps Pluto realize that everyone has fun in a game when they share, and that's when she realizes that is what Pete was trying to tell her. She returns to the stadium and apologizes to everyone for her selfish behavior. During the last inning, she lets Goofy catch the last ball, allowing the team to win. Chip, Dale, and Pluto run in, with the duo telling that Pluto starting sharing with them. Everyone gets ready for another game. Later, the gang returns to Funny. The episode ends with Funny producing a souvenir to remember their trip and Mickey and Minnie waving goodbye to the viewers.
