The gang travels to Majestica for a delicious pancake breakfast and discovers a problem when they arrive.
Synopsis[]
The episode begins inside Funny, where the gang receives a call from the Funhouse Phone. It is an invite from Innkeeper Cuckoo-Loca inviting them to her hotel for pancakes and a sleepover. Excited, the gang sets off for Majestica. Upon arriving at Cuckoo-Loca's hotel, however, she debriefs them on a problem: last night, King Ludwig came to the hotel and she read him a bedtime story to help him go to sleep but now he will not wake up. Mickey looks at the bedtime story and realizes that who the story is read to will be put into a forever sleep. Luckily, Mickey spots a remedy: if they obtain a peacock feather, dragon toenail clippings, and laughter from the Magic Mirror, then they can wake up the king by saying "Follow every word we say, time to wake and start your day." Daisy goes to find a peacock feather, Donald goes for the laughter, and the rest go to find Farfus for his toenails.
Daisy finds a peacock, but has difficulty in obtaining one of her tail feathers. She then finds a pigeon feather and decides to use that instead. Funny tries to warn Daisy, but she doesn't listen. Donald finds the Magic Mirror and tries to make it laugh by telling jokes, but he is unfazed. When Donald spots Funny laughing, he takes some of his laughter instead. Funny gives the warning he gave Daisy but he also doesn't listen. Goofy, Minnie, and Mickey find Farfus and try to get his toenail clippings, but the dragon is scared and flies to his mountain, forcing the trio to go after him. Minnie calms Farfus and gets his toenail clippings and Farfus gives them a ride back to Cuckoo-Loca's hotel.
The gang says the magic words but King Ludwig does not wake up. Daisy and Donald realize that this is their fault since they did not follow the instructions exactly and took shortcuts. They then proceed to go get the actual ingredients, with Daisy distracting the peacock with food so she can get the feather and Donald slipping on a banana peel to make the Magic Mirror laugh. The ducks return with the correct ingredients and the spell successfully wakes up King Ludwig. The gang and Ludwig proceed to enjoy some pancakes together before returning to Funny. The episode ends with Funny producing a souvenir to remember their trip and Mickey and Minnie waving goodbye to the viewers.
