"Mickey and the Enchanted Egg" is the sixty-third episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It originally aired on Playhouse Disney on November 14, 2009, and is the thirty-sixth episode in the second season.
Plot[]
While Mickey is telling a story about a wizard named Pete, he finds an egg that hatches a baby dragon named Zoey. Mickey must now bring Zoey back to her home.
Synopsis[]
The episode begins in the Clubhouse with Mickey greeting the viewers when Pluto arrives. Mickey will read him a story, which is about a wizard and his special egg. Mickey reveals the Clubhouse Library, where Toodles is reading a book. Mickey states that today, Toodles will bring the Mouseketools and show Mickey and Pluto some storybooks. Toodles shows books about a brave king, a unicorn, a glass slipper, and the wizard's special egg, which is shown on the green book.
Once upon a time, Wizard Pete lived in a tall castle tower. He is taking care of a big, purple egg, but when he wasn't looking, he bumped the cradle, causing the egg to roll out of his castle and far away. The egg then bumps into Donald and Goofy, who were on their way to the Clubhouse. Donald and Goofy are curious as to what it is, but the story is not finished. Donald and Goofy then arrive with the egg, which hatches, revealing a baby dragon who introduces herself as Zooey. After being greeted by Pluto, Zooey becomes sad, as she misses her papa and her home. Mickey decides for Donald, Goofy, and Pluto to be brave wizards and bring Zooey home. Mickey then goes to the Mousekedoer to pick up his Mouseketools: a music box, a slide, a spotlight, and the Mystery Mouseketool.
Toodles then shows that the path to Wizard Pete's castle will only appear when a light is shone through a pyramid prism. A Handy Helper brings up three crystals, with the middle being the pyramid prism. Pluto will stay to guard the Clubhouse while Mickey, Donald, and Goofy bring Zooey to the castle. Once outside, Mickey calls Toodles for the spotlight, which is used to shine light on the prism, making the path to the castle appear.
Mickey, Donald, and Goofy sing about being on their way to Wizard Pete while remembering to be brave. Wizard Pete sees them and knows they must be on their way to his dragon egg. He then makes the bridge Mickey, Donald, and Goofy are on float in the sky. Just then, Minnie and Daisy arrive and decide to help them. Minnie calls Toodles for the slide, used to get Mickey, Donald, and Goofy back to shore. Minnie and Daisy like Zooey, and Mickey tells them about bringing her home to Wizard Pete.
As Minnie and Daisy return to the Clubhouse, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy continue heading down the path to Wizard Pete's castle. Wizard Pete stalls them again, this time with a giant toad which blocks the road. Mickey reminds them that they are brave wizards. Goofy and Donald call Toodles for the Mystery Mouseketool, which is a mirror. The toad looks into it and likes his reflection. Mickey calls for a handy helper to place the mirror elsewhere, causing the toad to move off the road.
Mickey, Donald, and Goofy head down the path and eventually end up at Wizard Pete's castle. Wizard Pete appears, and Mickey tells him everything that happened regarding Zooey. Wizard Pete still claims that they came to take his dragon egg, and he will give it to them if they can match his magic, where he makes a ham appear. Mickey is challenged to do the same, this time to make a dragon dance. To help with that, Mickey calls Toodles for the music box. Once it is played, Zooey starts to dance but retreats due to being shy. So, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy all do the Dragon Dance, causing Zooey to head out and join them. Wizard Pete is impressed and joins in, as well. Mickey tells Wizard Pete about what happened regarding the dragon egg and Zooey hatching out of it in the Clubhouse.
Mickey calls for Toodles, who shows the storybook about what happened to the dragon egg. Wizard Pete concludes that things can get tight in the tower and sees that Zooey is his baby dragon. They are delighted to see each other again, and Mickey, Donald, and Goofy give Zooey to Wizard Pete, who apologizes for the mix-up. With the story given a happy ending, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy recap how brave they were before heading back to the Clubhouse to join the others in doing the Hot Dog Dance. The episode ends with everyone exiting the Clubhouse as it disappears and Mickey waving goodbye to the viewers.
