"Mickey's Handy Helpers" is the thirtieth episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It premiered on January 27, 2008, and is the third episode in the second season.
Plot[]
When The Handy-Dandy Machine that powers the Handy Helpers begins malfunctioning, Mickey and Co. head down to the basement where the machine is kept to try and fix it in time for their special dinner party.
Synopsis[]
The episode begins in the Clubhouse with Mickey greeting the viewers when Pluto appears, searching for something. Mickey mentions that the gang is coming over for a big dinner with everyone invited. As someone arrives at the door, a Handy Helper goes to open it, but suddenly stops. The gang can't get in the Clubhouse because of it, and Mickey turns the doorknob so they can enter. Mickey tells them about the Handy Helpers, and Professor Von Drake gives one a check-up. He finds out that the spring-a-ding-dinger is not working properly, so the Handy Helpers are all broken. The Clubhouse friends provide examples of how the Handy Helpers do so much for them. Mickey and Von Drake then hear a squeak from the basement. Von Drake knows that it is not good, and proves that the sounds are coming from the basement. The Handy-Dandy Machine that makes the Handy Helpers work is not working properly, so Mickey decides to fix it. He then goes to the Mousekedoer to pick up his Mouseketools: a bottle of shampoo, a butterfly net, four shape wrenches, and the Mystery Mouseketool.
Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto head down to the basement via the Down Slide while Donald and Daisy stay with Von Drake to help him take care of the Handy Helpers. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto instantly see the problem with the Handy-Dandy Machine, whose gears are not turning. Mickey sees the loose bolts and calls Toodles for the shape wrenches, used to tighten the bolts. Mickey uses the wrenches whose shapes matches that of the respective bolts. Mickey knows that the machine will be working again if the crank is turned up to the number 100. Minnie cranks the machine to that number, and the machine starts to work again.
Later, the crank goes back to 0, and Mickey wonders what happened. He lets Von Drake know if the Handy Helpers are working, and a Handy Helper is still broken. Goofy then gets stuck in between the gears. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto then call Toodles for the bottle of shampoo, used to make the gears slippery so that Goofy can slip out. Minnie turns the crank to 100 again, but the machine stops working again. The Handy Helpers are still not working, and one drops a glass of water on Donald.
Goofy tries to fix a spring but gets flung into the air, dropping one of his shoes. Minnie then calls Toodles for the butterfly net, used to catch Goofy. With the Handy Helpers still broken, Pluto goes to find the reason. He sees his ball stuck under a heart-shaped gear, and Mickey realizes that most likely is why the machine is squeaking. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto call Toodles for the Mystery Mouseketool, which is a pair of big tweezers, and use them to get Pluto's ball out of the gears. The Handy-Dandy Machine is working again, and Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto head upstairs, where they find out that the Handy Helpers are working again and making dinner. They also say thank you to Mickey for fixing them. Von Drake thanks the gang for fixing the Handy-Dandy Machine and making the Handy Helpers back to normal, and they do the Hot Dog Dance. The episode ends with them exiting the Clubhouse as it disappears and Mickey waving goodbye to the viewers.

Goofs[]
- Whenever the anywhere area lever is pulled, living room (or any other room) is underground in the basement. When Mickey, Minnie, Pluto ,and Goofy go back upstairs, the kitchen can be seen. But the kitchen can't be seen underground in the basement. (Before the anywhere area lever was pulled).
- Goofy should have already landed on the floor when Toodles just arrives for the third time.
- There was no hammock seen on the Handy Helper machine until Toodles can be seen sleeping when he is been called for the fourth time.
- Before the Hot Dog Dance begins, when it shows the scene with Silly Switch, it shows the telephone, despite it was showing the Silly Switch before. (This goof happens in almost every episode).
- It is unknown how Pluto's ball ended up in the Handy Dandy machine.
- In one scene, Goofy had no teeth.
