"Goofy Doesn't Like It!" is the second segment of the thirty-second episode of Mickey Mouse Funhouse. It premiered on January 22, 2023 alongside "Rescuing the Rutabaga Ruby", and is the second segment of the seventh episode in the second season.

Synopsis[]

When Goofy refuses to try new food during a trip to Korea to celebrate Lunar New Year, Mickey and the gang help him understand that it could hurt others' feelings.

Plot[]

The episode begins with the gang approaching Funny. Funny shows off his gat, a traditional Korean hat that his friend Ye Eun from Korea made for the Lunar New Year, which they refer to as Seollal. The gang gets excited, so Funny turns into a plane and the gang sets off for Korea. Upon arrival, the gang finds themselves in a traditional Korean village, where they meet Ye Eun. Ye Eun shows the gang, such as people wearing traditional clothes called hanbonks and giving kids bags of money.

Later on, Ye Eun cooks up a special Korean dish called tteokguk, a type of rice cake soup eaten on Lunar New Year's day. However, Goofy refuses to try it because of how "icky" it looks. Ye Eun brings everyone inside her kitchen to show them how it's made. While everyone has fun cooking tteokguk, Goofy still refuses to try it and leaves. Mickey and Minnie realize that Goofy might have hurt Ye Eun's feelings, so Funny goes to look for Goofy.

Goofy is about to eat a hot dog from his hat when a kid comes up to him. Goofy offers him a piece, but the kid says the hot dog looks icky and refuses to eat it. Funny makes Goofy realize that he treated Ye Eun's dish the same way the kid treated his hot dog. Goofy returns to he gang and Ye Eun and apologizes to her for being rude to her dish. He finally tries some tteokguk and discovers that he loves it. Eventually, Funny and the gang return to the Funhouse Forest. The episode ends with Funny producing a souvenir to remember their trip and Mickey and Minnie waving goodbye to the viewers.

  • When Funny turns himself into a plane, he looks similar like Dusty Crophopper.
