Coming in April 6, 2026 EST Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord is an upcoming American animated Star Wars series created by Dave Filoni for the streaming service Disney+. It takes place after the events of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and follows former Sith lord Maul during the reign of the Galactic Empire. The series is scheduled to premiere on April 6, 2026, with two episodes releasing each week until May 4. It will consist of 10 episodes. Synopsis Set after the events of The Clone Wars, Maul plots to rebuild his criminal syndicate on a planet untouched by the Empire. There, he crosses paths with a disillusioned young Jedi Padawan, who could be the apprentice he is seeking, who will aid him in his relentless pursuit of revenge.
