Motivation

[edit]

PC Games (Q2043897) is a German video game magazine that dates back to 1992. Their online database covers newer computer games and hardware with a numeric ID that can be harvested from source code iEntityId that can also be referenced without the SEO attachments. Confusingly, it is not identical to the numeric ID in the slug. The hardware IDs seem to also work with their sister magazine PC Games Hardware (Q2043899) as seen in this example. They are notorious for content sharing between media outlets they acquired over the years, so the IDs are the same for Gamezone (Q117447663) (example) and Videogameszone.de (Q128940928) (example) even Q1237337 (example) as they all seem to use the same content management system.
