What inspires you online? Who or what is always on your mood board? My Pinterest boards are full of 90s runway fashion looks. I take a lot of inspiration from those images for my upcycled sewing projects and thrift flips. I always joke that I was supposed to be an adult during that time because the style resonates with me so much. My mom and dad are also huge inspirations for me and I actually wear a lot of their old stuff! I’m so glad they kept so many items from back then.
Who are some of your favorite creators? Liminal Destinations is definitely one of my favorite accounts. We’d been following each other for a while and finally collaborated a few months ago on an 80s-inspired Beverly Hills mansion video. It was so fun and one of my favorite videos of the year. I know there are a lot of questions and unknowns regarding AI-generated art right now, but I think Liminal Destinations does an amazing job portraying that luxury 80s aesthetic through images of interior design that are so nice to scroll through and daydream about.
Describe your feed in three words. Vibrant, innovative, nostalgic
What’s a favorite moment from your career? Designing a custom upcycled piece that was on display during New York Fashion Week for YouTube’s #RemakeTheRunway sustainable fashion campaign was truly an unforgettable experience. Seeing something that I created showcased in New York and on billboards throughout the city was truly surreal and one of the biggest highlights of my career so far.
What’s a social media trend you’re obsessed with right now? Naturally, I love a good thrift flip! I’ll never get tired of seeing other creators come up with creative ways to rework and transform pre-loved items.
What’s your social media ick? I really dislike seeing how many accounts are created impersonating other people and creators. Sadly, sometimes it takes a lot of time and energy to get those fake accounts removed.
Who or what is your dream collaboration? I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with thrift stores like Goodwill and Savers, so I would also love to work with some online thrift store platforms like Poshmark and ThredUp!
What’s a song, artist, series, movie, video, podcast game, or anything digital you cannot get enough of right now?
Devin Morrison’s Dream Lobby series has some of my favorite sounds right now. His music captures that nostalgic yet futuristic dream soul vibe perfectly. I also have Alexander O’neal’s radio playing every day.
