Fat Joe’s recent comments on the My Expert Opinion podcast has caused Papoose to speak out in regard to his estranged wife, Remy Ma.
Following a heated online spat between Pap, Remy and champion boxer Claressa Shields on Dec. 12, Joe gave his input on the situation and admitted he was taken aback by everything that unfolded. In the midst, he also made a comment about once witnessing Remy take care of “10 men” at dinner, to which Papoose felt he had to clarify.
“Peace to my brother @fatjoe. I think y’all misunderstood his interview,” Pap wrote in a since-deleted Instagam Story. “I was not at @brooklynchophouse with them. I do spend thousands of dollars there regularly, though. I love that place!”
During the episode, Fat Joe called Remy and Papoose’s situation “hard” to witness and said “because of him, [Remy] made me love him. I really love him. That’s my Goddaughter’s father.”
Reflecting on his “old-school” morals, he added that he feels caught in the middle and he “don’t like none of this sh*t.”
The Terror Squad boss also acknowledged that stepping in, isn’t his place. “It’s different when you got a husband, first of all. Nobody’s coming to my house telling my wife sh*t. I can’t get in the middle of that. That’s y’all.”
While Fat Joe has remained silent on Pap’s reaction, social media was quick to chime in with their own thoughts.
One person commented, “I didn’t get that you were there [at Brooklyn Chop House] from the interview. I just heard she paid for 10 guys which shows her appreciation for ppl.” Another user joked about the ongoing drama, saying, “Pap, you ain’t really speak much before. Let’s keep it that way. I’m still traumatized from that little show y’all put on.”
