تمہارا میرا تعلق تو دوستانہ رہا

مگر ہمارے تعاقب میں یہ زمانہ رہا

ردا حیا کی لپیٹے وفا کے ساتھ چلی

مری تلاش میں لفظوں کا تازیانہ رہا

میں زندگی کی بلاخیز موج میں گم تھی

کہ حادثوں کے تلاطم میں آشیانہ رہا

عجیب خواب تھا پلکوں پہ چھاؤں چھوڑ گیا

عجیب عکس تھا خوابوں سے پھر جدانہ رہا

مرے مزاج میں شامل تھی زندگی کی تھکن

مرا سلوک مگر سب سے مخلصانہ رہا
