مزاج دل نہ اتنا سرد ہوتا

صولت زیدی

مزاج دل نہ اتنا سرد ہوتا

اگر پہلو بہ پہلو درد ہوتا

یہ کچلی لاش اب بھی سوچتی ہے

کوئی اس بھیڑ میں ہمدرد ہوتا

خزاں والے یہی تو چاہتے ہیں

ہرے پتوں کا چہرہ زرد ہوتا

محبت پر ہے پروائی کا احساں

وگرنہ دل میں کیوں یہ درد ہوتا

زمانے کی نظر لگنے نہ دیتا

جو تو آئینہ اور میں گرد ہوتا

agar pahlu-ba-pahlu dard hota

ye kuchli lash ab bhi sochti hai
koi is bhiD mein hamdard hota

KHizan wale yahi to chahte hain
hare patton ka chehra zard hota

mohabbat par hai purwai ka ehsan
wagarna dil mein kyun ye dard hota

zamane ki nazar lagne na deta
jo tu aaina aur main gard hota
