مُجھ سے جو تحریر ہوئی تھی

جاوید ڈینی ایل

مُجھ سے جو تحریر ہوئی تھی

وہ میری تفسیر ہوئی تھی

کچھ یادیں اور کچھ کاغذ تھے

جو اپنی جاگیر ہوئی تھی

راکھ ہوئی وہ بستی جس دن

رُوح مری دِل گیر ہوئی تھی

بوجھ غموں کا سہتے سہتے

ہر اِک شے زنجیر ہوئی تھی

اِک دوجے کی چاہت میں پھر

مَیں رانجھا وہ ہیر ہوئی تھی

میں نے اُس سے باتیں کی ہیں

صورت جو تصویر ہوئی تھی

جاتے ہوئے جاویدؔ تمہیں تو

پہلے بھی تاخیر ہوئی تھی
