بچھڑ کے ہم سے ملنا چاہتی ہے

عشرت رومانی

بچھڑ کے ہم سے ملنا چاہتی ہے

محبت اور کیا کیا چاہتی ہے

کسی صحرائے وحشت میں اتر کر

محبت خود سمٹنا چاہتی ہے

جسے سورج نے جھلسایا ہے برسوں

وہی کونپل پنپنا چاہتی ہے

کوئی موج بلا ہے اور تنہا

سمندر کو نگلنا چاہتی ہے

جھلستے سورجوں کی بھٹیوں میں

ہر اک ساعت پگھلنا چاہتی ہے

کوئی زخمی پرندہ مر رہا ہے

بصارت منہ چھپانا چاہتی ہے

سمندر شب اترنے کو ہے عشرتؔ

یہ بستی ڈوب جانا چاہتی ہے

bichhaD ke hum se milna chahti hai
mohabbat aur kya kya chahti hai

kisi sahra-e-wahshat mein utar kar
mohabbat KHud simaTna chahti hai

jise suraj ne jhulsaya hai barson
wahi konpal panapna chahti hai

koi mauj-e-bala hai aur tanha
samundar ko nigalna chahti hai

jhulaste surajon ki bhaTTiyon mein
har ek saat pighalna chahti hai

koi zaKHmi parinda mar raha hai
basarat munh chhupana chahti hai

samundar shab utarne ko hai 'ishrat'
ye basti Dub jaana chahti hai
