بڑے حساب سے عزت بچانی پڑتی ہے

حسیب سوز

بڑے حساب سے عزت بچانی پڑتی ہے

ہمیشہ جھوٹی کہانی سنانی پڑتی ہے

تم ایک بار جو ٹوٹے تو جڑ نہیں پائے

ہمیں تو روز یہ ذلت اٹھانی پڑتی ہے

مجھے خریدنے ایسے بھی لوگ آتے ہیں

کہ جن کے کہنے سے قیمت گھٹانی پڑتی ہے

ملال یہ ہے کہ یہ دونوں ہاتھ میرے ہیں

کسی کی چیز کسی سے چھپانی پڑتی ہے

تم اپنا نام بتا کر ہی چھوٹ جاتے ہو

ہمیں تو ذات بھی اپنی بتانی پڑتی ہے

hamesha jhuTi kahani sunani paDti hai

tum ek bar jo TuTe to juD nahin pae
hamein to roz ye zillat uThani paDti hai

mujhe KHaridne aise bhi log aate hain
ki jin ke kahne se qimat ghaTani paDti hai

malal ye hai ki ye donon hath mere hain
kisi ki chiz kisi se chhupani paDti hai

tum apna nam bata kar hi chhuT jate ho
hamein to zat bhi apni batani paDti hai
