عباس کیفی

عشق اک امر لا شعوری ہے

دونوں جانب سے کیا ضروری ہے

سانحہ ہو کہ خوش گوار انجام

خود میں ہر داستاں ادھوری ہے

وہ مرا چاند ہے مگر ہم میں

اک زمیں آسماں کی دوری ہے

کامیابی کا راز جانو ہو

اک ذرا مشق جی حضوری ہے

اک طرف اس کے ناز کا عالم

اک طرف میری ناصبوری ہے

یوں بھی لا تقنطو کی ہے تلقین

مجھ کو امید خود سے پوری ہے

ishq ek amar-e-la-shuuri hai
donon jaanib se kya zaruri hai

saneha ho ki KHush-gawar anjam
KHud mein har dastan adhuri hai

wo mera chand hai magar hum mein
ek zamin aasman ki duri hai

kaamyabi ka raaz jaano ho
ek zara mashq-e-ji-huzuri hai

ek taraf us ke naz ka aalam
ek taraf meri na-suburi hai

yun bhi la-taqnatu ki hai talqin
mujh ko ummid KHud se puri hai
