Usually they sit in the press room and keep in touch with proceedings on the internal telly.
But yesterday morning all they could get on their TV was Teletubbies.
"At first it looked like business as usual but eventually we worked out that what we had thought was John Edmonds of the GMB was actually Tinky Winky," says my man with the remote control.
