Rugby League: Murray on job alert.

FORMER Leeds Rhinos coach Graham Murray could be heading back to Super League next season after being axed by Sydney City Roosters.

Murray, 46, had a successful two-year stint at Headingley, where he took the club to the inaugural Grand Final in 1998 and 12 months later guided them to their first Cup win for 21 years. Now Salford may be candidates for his services.

His axing casts a doubt over the future at the Roosters of former Leeds second row Adrian Morley.
