Our school is simply superb.
A WAVERTREE school has been described as superb by Ofsted inspectors in a new report.St Hugh's Catholic primary in Earle Road is in the Dingle/Granby/Toxteth Education Action Zone, an area considered to be suffering from severe economic and social problems.
But the school consistantly performs well and has received a glowing Ofsted report which said: "St Hugh's RC primary school is a superb school.
"The overall quality of teaching is very good, and leadership and management are excellent."
Trish Deus, headteacher, said: "This Ofsted report is a great celebration for a lot of hard work and we are hoping it could lead to us getting beacon school status."
