RUNCORN will be looking to bounce back from two consecutive UniBond League Premier Division defeats when they travel to Barrow tonight.

And although the Cumbrians will provide a stern test for Liam Watson's men, the Linnets' player-boss was upbeat about his side's challenge.

Runcorn are likely to be without defenders Peter Ellis and Neil Whalley, who are both injured, but midfielder Steve Carragher returns after a ban.

Vauxhall, who have enjoyed an impressive start to their first season in the Premier Division after promotion, with five wins in their seven opening games, face a tough test at leaders Burton Albion.

Vauxhall await late fitness checks on Kevin Thompson and leading scorer Terry Fearns, who has already hit seven goals this season.

Marine take on Burscough at Rossett Park and striker Richie Townsend returns after suspension, but midfielder Anton Lalley is still out. Burscough are without keeper Matty Taylor, midfielder Jamie Cassidy and defender Ged Nolan through suspensions.
