John legs it for charity.

STARS Sarah Heaney and John Amabile were definitely candidates for the odd couple when they teamed up for a charity lunch.

STV newsreader and former model Sarah was the one wearing the trousers, while designer and presenter of Better Homes John, who is tipped to become Scotland's answer to Graham Norton, donned one of his trademark kilts.

The pair were guests at a "ladies lunch" yesterday in Glasgow in aid of the Princess Royal Trust for Carers. The event was held to raise funds for the charity and to promote awareness of the work done by carers in Scotland.
